Tullamore Pet Hotel is the culmination of a life long dream of mine to work full time with animals and particularly dogs. I set up Tullamore Pet Hotel in July 2010 as a home boarding alternative to kennelling for dogs and other small pets. Having worked in commercial kennels for a number of years, I know that no matter how well looked after, some dogs just do not do well in that environment. We are conveniently located in Tullamore town in the heart of the midlands, with the new bypass giving easy access to the town and the M4/M6 motorway.

At Tullamore Pet Hotel we offer a Home from Home for your Pet and are dedicated to giving your pet the same care and attention they would get from you. All dogs have free range of the house and garden except at cleaning and feeding times, when they take a rest with a healthy treat. All dogs are fed, handled and walked as per owner's instructions and we encourage you to give us as much information as possible on your booking form so that we can ensure that your dog will feel at home with us. Your dog is welcome to bring it's own bed, blankets, toys and anything else that will help it to settle in. Special needs and medicated dogs are welcome here depending on requirements. Although our primary customers are dogs, we welcome any small pet depending on requirements. All small pets are kept indoors at all times and are allowed free exercise as appropriate. We welcome inspection visits from owners who would like to discuss their pet's requirements with us before booking and to allow your pet to come and meet our resident pets.

I am a Canine First Responder, a Fetac Level 6 qualified Dog Trainer (Dog Training Ireland) and have many years experience of handling and training dogs in all types of environments. We are a tax registered business and have full public liability insurance. At Tullamore Pet Hotel you will have the peace of mind of knowing that your dog is in the care of a qualified, experienced, insured and lifelong dog lover.

At Tullamore Pet Hotel we believe in Breed not Deed and therefore do not discriminate against any breed of dog. To us a dog is a dog be it a Chihuahua or a Great Dane. All breeds are welcome here, all we ask is that they like to be in the company of other dogs and humans and have no aggression issues. In compliance with the Control of Dogs Regulations 1998, we would request that if your dog is on the restricted breed list that it should be conditioned to wearing a muzzle for walking in public places.
